This classic model is carved from one piece of beech wood. Engraved on this model is a carpet with Artsakh motifs. Since ancient times, carpets had their own symbolism and secret meanings. Often, secret messages were hidden within the carpet patterns. One of the features of the Armenian carpets is the cross stone pattern. Armenian carpets are known all over the world for their beauty, original ornamental patterns and sophisticated technology.

This model is hand-processed. The other side of the backgammon is designed for the game of checkers. It is varnished. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved of one piece of wood.
